Summary (English)This ilan amulet constitutes an abridged adaptation of Isaac Coppio's two-column ilan (Jerusalem, NLI, Ms. Heb. 4=9790). The adaptation constitutes a significant reduction of the original, from which much text has also been removed. The ilan includes a magical addendum personalized for a specific client: Mordechai Hayyim son of Rachel. The existence of an almost identical copy featuring the name of a different recipient (Jerusalem, NLI, Ms. Heb. 4=9788) indicates the commercial production of these amulets.
Summary (Hebrew)אילן קמע זה מהווה עיבוד מקוצר של אילן שני טורים של יצחק קופיו (Jerusalem, NLI, Ms. Heb. 4=9790). העיבוד מהווה צמצום משמעותי של המקור, שממנו הוסר גם טקסט רב. האילן כולל נספח מאגי המותאם אישית עבור לקוח ספציפי: מרדכי חיים בן רחל. קיומו של עותק כמעט זהה הנושא את שמו של נמען אחר (Jerusalem, NLI, Ms. Heb. 4=9788) מצביע על ייצורם המסחרי של קמעות אלו.
