Summary (English)This ilan makes a striking visual impression, beginning with an anthropomorphic head of Adam Kadmon and concluding with an elegant engraving of Jerusalem. The entire scroll is framed on all four margins by kabbalistic poems: "El Mistater" by Abraham Maimon and "Or Ganuz" by Moses Zacuto. Typologically, the Trinity Scroll consists of P and Z modules, with the latter featuring a unique textual frame reminiscent of a traditional commentary layout. However, the framing text is not a commentary on the diagram itself but rather Kizur Olam ha-Tikkun (Abridged World of Rectification) by Joseph Solomon Delmedigo. Originally intended to accompany diagrams in Delmedigo's Novelot Hokhmah (1631), this text provides a linear narrative of the structural dynamics and the enrobing process in the World of Tikkun. While the ilan's imagery and the framing text stem from different Lurianic traditions—the latter reflecting the Saruqian influence prevalent in Delmedigo’s sources—they function together to offer a comprehensive visualization and verbal account of the emanation process.
Summary (Hebrew)אילן זה מותיר רושם חזותי עז. הוא נפתח בראש אנתרופומורפי של אדם קדמון, ומסיים בתחריט מהודר של ירושלים. את המגילה כולה מקיפים בארבעת שוליה פיוטים קבליים: "אל מסתתר" לאברהם מימון ו"אור גנוז" למשה זכות. מבחינה טיפולוגית, אילן טריניטי מורכב מהמודולים P ו-Z כשהאחרון מתאפיין במסגרת טקסטואלית ייחודית המזכירה עימוד של פירוש מסורתי, כשלמעשה הטקסט שבמסגרת אינו פירוש לדיאגרמה, אלא החיבור "קיצור עולם התיקון" ליוסף שלמה דלמדיגו. טקסט זה, שיועד במקור ללוות את הדיאגרמות בספרו של דלמדיגו "נובלות חכמה" (1631), מספק תיאור נרטיבי ליניארי של הדינמיקה המבנית ותהליך ההתלבשות בעולם התיקון. אף שהדימוי החזותי והטקסט המקיף אותו יונקים ממסורות לוריאניות שונות – כאשר הטקסט משקף את ההשפעה הסרוקית הניכרת בכתבי דלמדיגו – השילוב ביניהם מעניק ייצוג חזותי ומילולי משלים של תהליך ההאצלה.
